This specially developed sports edging stone redefines modernsports surfaces. Thanks to itsintelligent geometry, the Trion stone can be used to edge, demarcate or join a wide variety of sports surfaces,depending on its orientation andapplication.
Made from 100% recycled artificial turfsystems, it transforms disused sports surfacesinto high-quality new sports infrastructure, combining sustainability with technical functionality. Whether foran artificial turf pitch, running track system,multi-purpose field or soccer court – the TrionStein offers a durable, robust and versatile solution for modernsports facility construction.
The kerb ensures a neat and durable boundaryfor sports surfaces. It stabilises the edges and prevents the surfacing from fraying. At the same time, it allows for easy integration into existing systemsand offers a wide range of applications.
Used as a border, the stone provides the perfect finish for the synthetic surface and acts as a boundary between artificial or natural grass and the synthetic surface.
The TrionStein can be used as a mowing edge between natural and artificial turf. On the natural turf side, one edge acts as a mowing edge, whilst the other serves as a border stone for the artificial turf. The recess can be filled with elastic base course material, allowing the artificial turf to be laid flat right up to the edge.
When used in conjunction with the optional clamping strip, the TrionStein can also be used as a clamping system for artificial turf. The clamping mechanism works with all standard types of turf, such as short, textured hockey pitches and long-pile football pitches.
