Leisure Sports Area at Pulverwald Stadium, Erndtebrück – A New Hub for Activity & Community

In 2025, a versatile leisure sports area was developed at the Pulverwald Stadium of TuS 1895 e.V. Erndtebrück. The project goes far beyond traditional sports facilities, creating sustainable spaces for physical activity and social interaction for both club members and the wider community.

PolyPlay Arena: Multi-Functional Playing Areas for All Age Groups

• Multi-purpose mini pitch (approx. 20 × 12 m) – suitable for basketball, volleyball, handball and football, equipped with a PolyPlay S synthetic surface

• Soccer Court (approx. 25 × 15 m) – small-sided football pitch featuring LigaGrass Synergy R

• Athletics sprint lanes with long jump pit – expanding training opportunities with a Rekortan BS track surface, ideal for sprinting and jumping disciplines

Engineering Challenge – Built into the Hillside

Due to limited available space, the new facility was partially integrated into the natural hillside. More than 4,000 cubic metres of soil were moved, representing a significant civil engineering achievement requiring precise planning and efficient logistics.

Community-Focused Planning & Strong Partnerships

The result is one of the most technically advanced mini pitch installations in the region. Supported by funding programmes, sponsors and extensive volunteer engagement, the project represents a total investment of approximately €250,000, making it one of the largest projects of its kind.

A Sustainable Sports Hub for Erndtebrück

The new facility at Pulverwald now serves as a local centre for sport, recreation and community life. Designed for club and public use alike, it benefits children, young people, adults and school groups while strengthening the long-term sports infrastructure of the town.
