In 2025, Sportwerk Ochtrup took its sports offering to the next level with the installation of three premium indoor Laykold Panoramic Padel Courts - designed and built by Polytan, a global specialist in synthetic sports surfaces. The new courts add a dynamic, year-round racket sport to the modern performance campus in North Rhine-Westphalia, reinforcing Sportwerk’s reputation as one of the region’s most advanced multisport facilities.

The courts feature Polytan’s Laykold Padel Turf, a durable synthetic grass to ensure ideal playing conditions. The turf provides a consistent ball bounce, reliable grip and controlled speed — qualities that benefit both casual players and experienced competitors. The system is completed with a robust enclosure of tempered glass and steel framing, engineered to meet international standards for safety and visibility.
