The maxworx Sportpark in Dreieich, Hesse, is not only the home ground for Eintracht Frankfurt’s U21 team; the 35,000-square-meter facility, with its stadium and multifunctional artificial turf pitch, also serves as an event venue and training facility for the U19 and U20 women’s teams of Eintracht Frankfurt. The latest highlight of the complex is a brand-new, full-size artificial turf pitch, which was equipped end of 2025 with Polytan’s latest professional artificial turf system, LigaTurf Cross Next R – the perfect symbiosis of maximum performance and active sustainability.

A modern talent hub for Eintracht Frankfurt

To achieve lasting success in modern top-tier football, excellent coaches and talented players are not the only requirements – first-class infrastructure is paramount. At the maxworx Sportpark in Dreieich, the youth academy teams as well as the women's and girls' teams of Eintracht Frankfurt find precisely these optimal conditions. While the straight blades ensure completely natural ball roll and an authentic look, the textured fibers support the system, keeping the infill firmly in place, thereby drastically reducing maintenance and infill migration.

The decisive benefit for the environment is found in the “Next R” in the name: this system incorporates sustainable, recycled raw materials.
