The installation and regular inspection and maintenance of playground equipment must comply with the requirements of the applicable standard DIN EN 1176-1:2017. The playground operator is responsible for ensuring compliance. As part of the annual main inspection, the foundations of playground equipment must also be inspected by a qualified person since 2018. These must be freely accessible in the fall protection surface. InspecS® inspection inserts for fall protection surfaces enable unrestricted inspection of the foundations on vertical and inclined posts quickly and easily. Patching, costly repairs, and prolonged closures of playgrounds are unnecessary. Furthermore, InspecS® inspection inserts meet the fall protection properties required by DIN EN 1177 of the fall protection surface surrounding the posts. They can also be installed retrospectively. The InspecS® inspection inserts are suitable for all common fall protection surfaces and are available in 24 standard colors. Special colors are available on request.
