Train like a god in France

It doesn’t get more Provence than this. Manosque, a town of about 20,000 inhabitants on the banks of the Durance, lies right at the crossroads of the Verdon and Luberon nature parks. It is the gateway to these two low mountain ranges, which some say were created on the seventh day—when God, instead of resting, decided to crown creation with Provence. Blessed by the sun, rich in historic villages and pristine landscapes, the region inspires visitors to immediately immerse themselves in its vast valleys and rolling hills. With lavender planted in long rows that resemble whirling brushes as the wind passes through. Nestled in between: Manosque. The old town center features narrow streets and plane tree-lined squares that invite you to enjoy life to the fullest, just like the French motto.

To ensure that sports are not overlooked for the local residents, the city built the Stade Adrien Gilly. It includes a natural grass football pitch along with a 400-meter athletics track with six lanes as well as jumping and throwing facilities.

The track features our Polytan Rekortan M, an elite sports surface that has proven its suitability for competition on a global scale. This poured-in-place surface impresses with its outstanding acceleration and elasticity, providing a fast surface with exceptional cushioning and state-of-the-art sports medical properties.

In Manosque, approximately 5,800 m² of Rekortan M was installed. Primarily used by the Entente Provençale de Manosque Athlétisme, a local athletics club welcoming sports enthusiasts of all ages, and by the Triathlon Manosque Club. Activities such as triathlon, duathlon, and aquathlon are trained here. The club’s motto is: "Triathlon pour toutes et tous" (Triathlon for everyone). With our surface, they can truly train like gods in France.
