Sustainable and FIFA-certified

The town of Nidzica, located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in Poland, is heavily investing in the development of its sports facilities: In summer 2022, a complete complex was completed at the Vocational and Comprehensive School, featuring various surfaces supplied by Polytan. This includes a multipurpose field, a football pitch with an adjacent sprint track, a long jump pit, a tennis court, and a streetball field. We are therefore delighted that in September 2023, the decision for the Municipal Stadium sports complex in Nidzica also fell on a Polytan surface. This marks the first major artificial turf field in the entire district. Installed was our LigaTurf Cross R – the best proof for us that top-level football can indeed be sustainable, thanks to the recycled content in its filaments. Furthermore, as the surface is extremely robust and as easy to maintain as fully textured artificial turf, it is rightly considered the ideal solution for heavily used professional training facilities for amateur and professional clubs or sports schools. A special achievement for us and the users: The new artificial turf pitch in Nidzica has been certified by the world football association FIFA, passing all the tests required for the FIFA Quality PRO certification. It is one of only nine fields in Poland to have received such a certification.The artificial turf at the Municipal Stadium is primarily used by the football club MKS Start Nidzica, which places particular emphasis on youth development: No fewer than 15 youth and children’s teams are part of the Akademię Startu Nidzica! The project was implemented by Panorama Obiekty Sportowe, a company specializing in the planning and construction of sports facilities in the Polish market.
