Modern Football Pitch for FC Anadia

The Estádio Municipal Engenheiro Sílvio Henriques Cerveira in Anadia, Portugal, is setting new standards for football in the region with the installation of a state-of-the-art artificial turf system. Since September 2023, the stadium has featured LigaTurf Legend Pro – a premium surface that offers professional playing conditions, outstanding durability, and a long service life. The project was realised in collaboration with the experienced partner company Greenstadium.

The stadium serves as the home ground of the traditional club Anadia FC, a fixture of Portuguese football since its founding in 1926. Currently competing in the Campeonato de Portugal, the third tier of the Portuguese league system, the club plays in a venue that accommodates around 3,000 spectators and stands as a vital hub for the football-loving community of Anadia.

FC Anadia places particular emphasis on its youth academy, which enjoys an excellent reputation throughout the region. Over the years, numerous talented players have been nurtured here, many of whom have gone on to join higher-level clubs both in Portugal and abroad. The newly installed LigaTurf Legend Pro provides ideal conditions for both the academy's youth teams and the senior squad – offering consistent high performance, low maintenance, and reliable playability in all weather conditions. The artificial turf pitch is now the centrepiece of a sports infrastructure whose influence extends far beyond the city of Anadia.
