The Trion stone can be used as a mowing edge between natural and artificial turf. On one side, it forms a mowing edge for the natural grass, while on the other it serves as a finishing kerb for the artificial turf. The recess can be filled with elastic base layer material, allowing the artificial turf to be installed flush right up to the edge.
In combination with the optional clamping strip, the Trion can also be used as a clamping system for artificial turf. The edge finishing provides a clean and level transition from the artificial turf pitch to the perimeter of the playing surface. For a consistent appearance, the TrionStone can also be combined with the matching studded container plate, also made from recycled artificial turf systems. As an edging plate, the Trion stone also features a recess or groove in the concrete bedding, in which a root protection membrane can be installed. Using a standard aluminium rail or rubber wedges, the membrane is clamped securely into the groove. This helps prevent potential surface irregularities that may develop over time due to root growth in the ground.
Used as a border, the stone provides the perfect finish for the synthetic surface and acts as a boundary between artificial or natural grass and the synthetic surface.
The TrionStein can be used as a mowing edge between natural and artificial turf. On the natural turf side, one edge acts as a mowing edge, whilst the other serves as a border stone for the artificial turf. The recess can be filled with elastic base course material, allowing the artificial turf to be laid flat right up to the edge.
