With Rekortan re-topping, both water-permeable and impermeable surfaces can be realized. The systems offer an economical and sustainable solution for renovating a track or sports facility, as existing elastic substructures can be reused instead of being disposed of. This is particularly flexible with Rekortan re-topping: Installation on the old surface is possible regardless of the initial installation method—whether in-situ surfaces or prefabricated track surfaces. All re-topping surfaces feature structured and spike-friendly surfaces, making them the optimal foundation for professional sports. Additionally, they can be certified according to World Athletics competition requirements.
